Flat Earth & Quran:-
Earth in Arabic is Ardth. The stories of the Creation in the Quran are various and contradictory unlike the original and systematic one in the Bible.
Both Muhammad and his Quran show an incredible contempt and disregard for facts and truth, even when they are plagiarising, plundering and pirating from previously inspired revelations by the Almighty. They invariably pervert and contort what they are stealing to make it look original and different.
Several thousands of years ago, the Bible clearly recorded that the earth is round and that it is hung on nothing.
Isa. 40:22 "It is He who sits above the circle of the earth"
Job 26:7 "He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing"
For example, Muhammad taught his followers that just as there are seven heavens one above another (plagiarised from the traditions of the Jews), so there are seven earths one beneath another, the distance between each of these regions being five hundred years' journey. (Mishkat, book xxiv c I part 3)
In the Quran the earth is said to be stretched out like a carpet or bed
which expression the ancient commentators understood to imply that the earth was a vast plain; and (Surah 39: 67) to be but a handful in the sight of Allah, which in the last day shall be changed with another earth (Surah 14:49).
Yet, the Quran challenges all established scientific facts. In many places, it alludes to the fact that the earth is flat and its mountains are like poles which create a balance so that the Earth does not tilt.
Let us investigate what the Quran says about the Earth:
15:19 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.
# 1955 Majesty, order, beauty and harmony are shown in all Allah's Creation, but especially in the heavens. Coming nearer to man, Allah's care for man and His goodness are shown (besides His other qualities) in His creation of the earth. In highly poetical language, the earth is described as spread out like a carpet, on which the hills act as weights to keep it steady #
16:15 And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves
# 2038 Cf. xiii. 3 and xv. 19. Here and elsewhere the earth is spoken of as a spacious carpet beneath our feet and the hills as a steadying agent to keep the carpet from rolling or shaking about. In lxxvii. 7 they are spoken of as pegs or stakes #
18: 47 One Day We shall remove the mountains and thou wilt see the earth as a level stretch and We shall gather them all together nor shall We leave out any one of them.
20:53 "He Who has made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced divers pairs of plants each separate from the others.
21: 31 And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm lest it should shake with them and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive guidance.
43:10 (Yea the same that) has made for you the earth (like a carpet) spread out and has made for you roads (and channels) therein in order that ye may find guidance (on the way);
# 4613 Cf. xx. 53 and n. 2576. Mihad, a carpet or bed spread out, implies not only freedom of movement but rest also. The 'roads and channels' carry out the idea of communications and include land routes, sea routes, and airways #
50: 7 And the earth--We have spread it out and set thereon mountains standing firm and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)
*** This is accompanied by the same comment by the above Muslim scholars (refer to Jalalan, p. 437; Baydawi, p. 686, Tabari, p. 589, and Zamakhshari, part 4, p. 381). All of them assure us that
"if it were not for these unshakable mountains, the earth would slip away."
Zamakhshari, the Baydawi and the Jalalan say:
"Allah has built heaven without pillars but He placed unshakable mountains on Earth lest it tilts with people."
(Concerning chapter 50:7, the Suyuti says that scholars indicate that "Qaf is a mountain which encompasses the entire earth" (refer to Itqan, part 3, p. 29). Qaf is an Arabic L like K)
These are the comments of the ancient Muhammadan Muslim scholars word for word.
What is even more remarkable and most disturbing is the facrt that some Saudi scholars wrote a book a few years ago to disprove the spherical aspect of the earth and they claimed that it is a myth, agreed with the above mentioned scholars, and said we must believe the Quran and reject the spherical aspect of the earth.
When DOGMA is so deeply embedded, LOGIC, REALITY and FACTS are replaced by STUPIDITY, MYTH and outright LIES ***
51:48 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: how excellently We do spread out!
71:19 "`And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out)
78: 6 Have We not made the earth as a wide expanse7 And the mountains as pegs?
84: 3 And when the Earth is flattened out
88:17-20 "Will they not regard the camels how they are created...and the Earth how it is spread?"
*** On page 509, the Jalalain
"In his phrase, ‘how it is spread’, he denotes that the earth is flat. All the scholars of Islamic law agree upon this. It is not round as the physicists claim."
The Quranic teaching is obvious from the comment of Jalalan that "the earth is flat and not round as the scientists claim".
What forced Jalal al-Din to agree to such utter nonsense is the fact that the Quran asserts in many chapters that the earth is flat, and no TRUE 'Muslim' can ever CONTRADICT the Quran in public and live.
Muhammadan Scholars who agree upon the meaning of this verse believe as
Al Jalalain state (pp. 270-271),
"Allah has founded firm mountains on earth lest it shake people."
On page 429, al-Baydawi says,
"Allah has made firm mountains on earth lest it sway people and quake. He also made heaven as a ceiling and kept it from falling down!"
Al Zamakhshari agrees with the above authors and reiterates the same words (refer to Zamakhshari part 3, p. 114)***
The earth is believed by Muhammadan scholars to be surrounded by a great sea called al-Bahru 'l-Muhit, or the circumambient ocean which is bounded by the mountains of Qaf.
The extent of the earth is said to be two hundred years journey being allotted to the sea
two hundred to the uninhabited desert, eighty to the country of Gog and Magog (Yajuj wa Majuj) and the rest to the civilized world.
Certain terrae incognitae in the midst of the mountains of Qaf are said to be inhabited by the Jinn or Genii. According to some, Makkah (or Jerusalem according to others) is situated in the centre of the earth.
On the Muhit is the Arshu 'l-Iblis, or the "Throne of Satan." The western portion of the Muhit is often called the Bahru 'z-Zulmat, or "Sea of Darkness" and in the south-west corner of the earth is the Fountain of Life of which al-Khizi drank, and in virtue of which he still lives, and will live till the Day of Judgement.
The mountains of Qaf which bound the great sea Muhit, form a circular barrier round the whole earth, and are said to be of green chrysolite, the color of which the Prophet said imparts a greenish tint to the sky. The general opinion is that the mountains of Qaf bound our earth, but some say there are countries beyond, each country being a thousand years' journey.
It is also well-known that the Quran proclaims that there are seven earths — not just one (refer to the commentary of the Jalalan, p. 476, al-Baydawi, p. 745 as they interpret chapter 61:12, Surah Divorce: 1 2).
The seven earths, which are five hundred years' journey from each other, are situated one beneath the other, and each of these seven regions has its special occupants.
The occupants of the first are men, genii, and animals;
the second is occupied by the suffocating wind which destroyed the infidel tribe of 'Ad (Surah lxix 6);
the third is filled with the stones of hell, mentioned in the Quran (Surah 2:22; 66:6) as "the fuel of which is men and stones";
the fourth by the sulphur of hell;
the fifth by the serpents of hell;
the sixth by the scorpions of hell, which are in size and color like black melons, and have tails like spears;
and the seventh by the devil and his angels.
Our earth is said to be supported on the shoulders of an angel, who stands upon a rock of ruby, which rock is supported on a huge bull with four thousand eyes, and the same number of ears, noses, mouths, tongues, and feet between every one of each is a distance of five hundred years' journey. The name of this bull is Kujuta, who is supported by an enormous fish, the name of which is Bahamut.
The above is but a brief outline of the Muhammadan belief as regards the earth's formation; but the statements of Muhammadan commentators are so wild on the subject, that it seems quite useless to quote them as authorities, for they contradict each other in an endless variety.
It is very clear that the sun does not traverse the heaven and set down in a murky, muddy well, or slimy water, or a place which contains both of them as the Baydawi, Zamakhshari, and the Quran remark.
Nor is the earth flat and the mountains the pillars and the towerings which prevent the earth from moving as the Quran and the scholars said. Nor is there a mountain which encompasses the whole earth — nor are there seven earths.
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 5688 Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) pointed to something like a bowl and said, "If a piece of lead like this were sent from Heaven to Earth, which is journey of five hundred years, it would reach the earth before night; and if it were sent from the top of the chain it would travel forty years night and day before reaching its foot (or its bottom)."
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 5735 Narrated byAbuHurayrah
While Allah's Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions were sitting clouds came over them and Allah's Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Do you know what these are?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger knew best, he said, "These are the clouds (anan), these are the water-carriers of the Earth, which Allah drives to people who do not thank Him or call upon him."
He then asked, "Do you know what is above you?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) knew best, he said, "It is the firmament, a ceiling which is guarded and waves which are kept back."
He then asked, "Do you know what is between you and it?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) knew best, he said, "Between you and it are five hundred years."
He then asked, "Do you knew what is above that?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) best he said, "Two heavens with a distance of five hundred years between them."
He went on speaking like that till he counted seven heavens, the distance between each pair being like between Heaven and Earth.
He then asked, "Do you know what is above that?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) knew best, he said, "Above that is the Throne, and the distance between it and the (seventh) heaven is the same as that between each pair of heavens."
He then asked, "Do you know what is below you?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) knew best, he said, "It is the earth."
He then asked, "Do you know what is under that?" On their replying that Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) knew best, he said, "Under it there is another Earth with a journey of five hundred years between them," and so on till he had counted seven earths with a journey of five hundred years between each pair. He then said, "By Him in Whose hand Muhammad's soul is, if you were to drop a rope to the lowest earth it would not pass out of Allah's knowledge." He then recited, "He is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward, and He is omniscient." (Tirmidhi commented that Allah's Messenger's recitation of the verse indicates that it would go down within Allah's knowledge, power and authority, for Allah's knowledge, power and authority are everywhere, while He is on the Throne, as He described Himself in His Book.)
Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it.
*** The Muhammadan Muslims VENERATE Muhammad as representing the best man that has ever lived as well as the one with the most knowledge of almost everything.
Even the translator CONFIRMED the meaning of the verses and hence no Muhammadan can accuse others of any kind of misunderstanding or misinterpretation
From all the above, the reader has to come to his/her own conclusion.
My humble observation based upon the above samples only is, that no DIVINE being could have 'revealed' such verses regarding the spherical Earth and its mountains.
It is easier to accept that a mere human being such as Muhammad can be wrong.
It is much more difficult to allow that Gabriel, the messenger of Allah is mistaken.
It is BLASPHEMY to think that Allah is wrong.
To unravel the riddle of the above ANOMALIES, STUPIDITIES, IRRATIONALITIES, CONTRADICTIONS and blatant LIES, the reader has to come to the one and only rational explanation, that Allah is
NOT the GOD of ISRAEL & JESUS but merely the NAME of the supreme PAGAN rock god of the Ka'ba.
The reader also knows that no rock god could INSPIRE any human being.
Hence the final conclusion can only be:
Muhammad, Gabriel, Satan & Allah
are
ONE and the SAME person(s)
MUHAMMAD himself
